yes, super dry and I historically had oily skin. I used a much more moisturizing body cream and also face cream.

I received a small wedge pillow as a gift. I only used that. I mostly put it between my knees but toward the end, I liked it under my belly (with another pillow between my knees).
3. Are you doing / did you do perennial massage? What's the best way to go about it?
yes, we did this, but not enough to make much of a difference. We used perennial oil (I think olive oil can also be used) and dh massaged, applying more and more pressure to try to stretch the tissue. This btw can help with #5...
4. Did the maternity clothes you started with last you all the way through or did you need another set of bigger maternity clothes?
They lasted most of the pg. She dropped about 4 weeks before I delivered and my jeans stopped fitting comfortably then. I ended up putting the band below my belly and using a bella band to keep them up. I didn't ever buy bigger. I also used the bella band and maternity tank tops to cover my belly for my shirts that were getting a little small.
5. How do you / did you keep your sex life alive during pregnancy?
sadly, that was easier during pg than it has been with bf. I think I just tried to make it a priority even if I wasn't fully into it.

1. My face is SUPER dry. Do you have / did you get really dry skin while PG? I think this is super common because the baby is taking so much of your water intake so you aren't getting the moisture you used to. I just found myself using moisturizer at night and in the morning when normally I don't need to do both.
2. I seem to sleep worse and have more back pain when I use the body pillow. In what position are you / were you most comfortable sleeping? This is my least favorite part of pregnancy. Sleeping is just uncomfortable and I have kind of given in to knowing that. I just use a regular pillow between my legs and try to change positions often while sleeping. I also take tylenol before bed many nights.
3. Are you doing / did you do perennial massage? What's the best way to go about it? We didn't really do this at all.
4. Did the maternity clothes you started with last you all the way through or did you need another set of bigger maternity clothes? So much of my maternity clothes, especially shirts, have to wait until the end to wear so that I have a bigger belly, but I just stretched things, used long tank tops and wore a lot more dresses toward the end.
5. How do you / did you keep your sex life alive during pregnancy? We didn't either. We tried with baby #1, but both of us had a mental block because we couldn't not think about the baby. So with this one neither of us has really tried.

I am so gad you asked some of these. I have been wanting to know answers for some too but haven't asked yet.
1. My face is SUPER dry. Do you have / did you get really dry skin while PG? My T zone is so stinking dry lately! Not to mention I have been having mass break outs lately. Which isn't like me at all.
2. I seem to sleep worse and have more back pain when I use the body pillow. In what position are you / were you most comfortable sleeping? I haven't gotten a body pillow yet. I usually sleep on either side and sleep with a king size pillow just between my legs and then sleep with 2 pillows under my head. It's helping but I think I am going to have to get one more pillow for my back.
3. Are you doing / did you do perennial massage? What's the best way to go about it? Would love to see all the answers to this because I just read about it the other day. I am a strong believer though on massage during pregnancy.

My skin feels mostly the same. Sometimes I feel like my face is shinier, but nothing a little powder doesn?t help.

I just started using a wedge pillow under my belly, but that?s it so far. I move around so much that pillows just get in my way. My back does get really sore and I walk like an old lady when I first get out of bed, but I think that?s just the way its going to be.

I grew out of some things by about 25w, but am still wearing a good majority of my maternity clothes. I?m hoping to make it work up until the end because I really don?t want to buy more clothes. I might break down and buy a skirt since I don?t have one and two out of my four pairs of pants are already getting uncomfortable.
5. How do you / did you keep your sex life alive during pregnancy?
I?m the wrong person to ask because we?ve tried, but failed miserably. I have great dreams about it all the time though! Thankfully my DH is extremely patient and understanding.

Last time, I found that I needed to sleep with literally 8 pillows! my head would be 2 high, then 1 high right under those for my chest (since in the beginning they hurt so bad, they needed their own pillow) Then I'd put the body pillow right up against my back, had to be in tight too! Then 1 or 2 more pillows for me to lan on forward facing too (to keep from rolling on my belly) and I tried to keep one under/between my legs too. Making a nest in a "V" shape was important to a comfortable night sleep! lol

4. Did the maternity clothes you started with last you all the way through or did you need another set of bigger maternity clothes? They did, although they were bursting at the seams in the last month or 2. (I gained 50 pounds!) I'd have to wear my pants for a good 3-4 days before they weren't super tight in the rear! I did buy some new capri's in the last few months just since I made due with long pants for work etc... and needed some summer pants to get me thru the end of July. They got GOOD use!
I still have not gotten my maternity clothes down from the attic yet. I'm curious how they will fit this time since I was down 2 sizes when starting this PG'y. (Although I've gained over 10 pounds now)
Since I had those 2 larger sizes in my closet still most my reg pants still fit. I do think maternity will look better though.

I found that sleeping with a pillow between my legs helped my back tremedously. I also saw a chiropractor, which helped as well. The guy I saw had a special pillow to lay on, so it was safe during pregnancy.

Omg! I read this as "prenatal massage" and thought, "Man, that would have been nice while I was pregnant" - ha!!

My skin is naturally combination skin. However, in PG, it has been super oily. I finally got it regulated in the 2nd Tri, but now I am starting to break out again. Never dry though.

Once I started the 3rd Tri, no position is comfortable for very long. I sleep with the body pillow, along with two other pillows, shoved under my leg and another pillow behind my back.

I have been trying to do perennial massage, but it is really hard to do on yourself during the 3rd tri. And awkward for DH to do. I have kind of given up on it. It also kind of hurts me, which makes me want to do it less...

I am very close to the end and my clothes are just starting to not fit. I am not going to buy any more maternity clothes, because I am so close to my due date. So I guess, most of my clothes got me through the entire pregnancy.

Um sex??? What's that??? We have literally had sex twice in 8 months. I am so not interested, and I find it painful right now because my cervix is so low. (Not to mention the babies head is pressed up against it.) We won't have sex until after DS is born, unless I go past my due date and then we will have sex multiple times a day.

1. My face is SUPER dry. Do you have / did you get really dry skin while PG? Both my skin and hair are a lot drier than normal - but I'm not entirely sure if it is from pregnancy or moving to a different climate (cold, dry long Alaskan winter)
2. I seem to sleep worse and have more back pain when I use the body pillow. In what position are you / were you most comfortable sleeping? I also haven't had much luck with a body pillow - I move a lot and so it ends up on the floor after about 20 minutes. I don't really have a comfortable position but I noticed that it is easier to get (more) comfortable on my side with a medium firm king sized pillow kind of wedged under my head and upper torso (I mostly have upper rib area pain and not hip pain so I need more support up there)
3. Are you doing / did you do perennial massage? What's the best way to go about it? Right now I'll sometimes massage it a bit if I'm in the bath or shower, haven't done any serious massaging yet but I'm sure DH would help with that if I asked ;-)
4. Did the maternity clothes you started with last you all the way through or did you need another set of bigger maternity clothes? I'm on the verge of outgrowing mine - but I really only need a few bigger shirts, my pants still fit pretty fine (although I had to switch from full panel mat jeans to under the belly or half panel)
5. How do you / did you keep your sex life alive during pregnancy? What sex life? haha - I just got off of 10 weeks of pelvic rest so we have some catching up to do, we'll see how "alive" it gets though since I'm pretty uncomfortable and have a lot more of a stomach than I did before.
