Prayers Please!! For a co worker

Yesterday at work a co-worker of mine her water broke yesterday while at the office.  She is only 30 weeks pregnant.  As much as I cant stand her Im really worried for her because I've had babies early and know that 30 weeks is WAY to early.  She hasn't had the baby yet.  But please pray that everything is ok.  She is still in the hospital!

But know that miracles do happen.  A friend was induced at 32 weeks due to really sudden onset high BP.  Her little girl went to NICU for a week but was fine the whole time.  They monitored her, but she only had a feeding tube the first day and was really healthy (albeit small).  She was home not long after that.  I know 32 is more developed than 30, but there's always hope!

It is early, but babies do survive that premature sometimes.  I hope everything is ok!

I developed a leak at 30 weeks as well, I was put on bedrest and managed not to deliver my son until 37 weeks which is when I started leaking again.  Hopefully she is able to do the same.  I will be thinking of her!

Thanks everyone.   I know babies survive this early, but Ive had 4 kids int he NICU (Triplets and the youngest)  My triplets were born at 33 weeks, and the other was full term but born with pneumonia.  I just HATE the NICU its stressful on the parent and it really sucks as far as watching your child struggle and you feeling helpless.

 

I took some toothpaste up to her today, and she had stopped contracting but I guess they are going to keep her in the hospital until she delivers.   Which sucks but is better than a really early baby.
