I stopped swaddling my baby a couple of weeks ago, but at that time I also started co-sleeping. I'd like to start transitioning her to her crib, but when I lay her down at night on her own, she makes a lot of jerky movements and grunts a lot when her pacifier falls out. (If her paci stays in then she's calm.)
I'm wondering if she's too big for swaddling because last night when I tried it she fought her way out.
Any advice would be appreciated. TIA!
Re: Do you swaddle your 6 wk old?
I have found if I swaddle DD with her arms confined - she gets really ticked off...but if I swaddle her from her armpits down - sort of my version of a mini swaddle - then she is fine.
I think it just depends on the child...
