Crib bedding is so expensive!

A friend of mine and I are going shopping and she's buying us our bedding set as she's been with me throughout my entire infertility journey. So, my hubby and I picked out a set we really liked at BRU and it's $199! That seems like s huge gift and I feel so bad. I saw they had a coupon so I'm bringing that and I'm thinking of calling other baby stores around to see if they carry it cheaper. Seriously, why are they so expensive?!?

Try Baby Depot. All their bedding is 20% off this month and they are way cheaper then BRU to start with. They carry most of the same ones.

Google it, I'm sure you'll find it somewhere else for cheaper.

I did that to the first one I thought I was going to get and found it cheaper somewhere else.

IMHO I dont think $199 is expensive. If you bought all that fabric and had it made it would be much more than that. I actually think $199 is on the cheaper end if your getting everything.

we actually went without a bedding set and got all the other coordinates.  the set wasn't worth it to me when

- i don't plan to use the bumper

- i was going to hang the blanket as decor

- all the reviews said the crib sheet was krap

 so instead we got the matching lamp, valance, wall hangings and bought solid sheets and crib skirt to match.
