A Little Bit about Me (for Becky) : )

Becky, I was really hoping this was your cycle, but I am saying prayers that you get an Easter BFP for a Christmas baby!

I'll try to keep this short since I'm not all that interesting...  : P

I grew up in the same town as DH, but we never really talked to each other.  He was a jock and I was the quiet girl in school.  A few years ago, we started talking at my cousin's annual 4th of July party.  I had a few cocktails and got the nerve up to flirt with him a bit.  I somehow finagled (sp?) his phone number off him and sent him a text while we were at the party thinking if he was interested, he would write back at a later date.  He didn't.

A few weeks passed and I saw him again at our local bar.  I had WAY to much to drink and ended up taking him back to my place with me.  We made out a bit, but he was a gentleman and didn't take advantage of my drunken state.  He even invited me to the Kenny Chesney concert the next day, but I was too shy to go.  He called me a few times after that, but I was embarrassed because I had been so drunk.

A few months later, we ended up being partners in my cousin and his best friends wedding and we have been inseperable ever since.  And by the way, anytime people ask how we met, he likes to tell them I got drunk one night and took him home.  : P

We were married in October 2008 in Mexico.  It was wonderful.  We went off BC as soon as we got home, but waiting to officially TTC until December.  We got PG immediately and I was ecstatic.  We decided not to tell anyone right away.  I went out and bought 'The Belly Book' and Fit Pregnancy.  I was going to have DH start taking pics of my belly, but he said to wait until the first appointment.  I'm glad we did because a week after the BFP I started bleeding.  I knew something was wrong, but he told me to stay positive.  My Dr sent me for bloodwork the next day.  I had to wait 2 days until the appointment, but in the meantime took an HPT and it was negative so I knew what happened.  : (

They said to wait to TTC for one cycle.  47 excrutiatingly long days later she arrived and I'm hoping to O soon so I can be in the 2WW.

I lurk everyday and post occasionally.  I love to travel (my fav place in the world is Walt Disney World!), I love to bake (cheesecakes and choc chip cookies are my specialty), I love dogs (we have a boxer and great dane) and I love to veg out and watch TV (The Office, House, How I Met Your Mother, The Big Bang Theory, LOST, Law and Order, 2 1/2 Men).

Enough about me.

i swear i feel like everyone who gets pregnant sooo fast like that gets a mc, i got pregnant twice like that, it only took me one month each time, and both time i m/c and with my dd it took me 9 months, cause i just got off the bcp and she was successful, at this point im just being a paranoid person hahha

I know.  I wish I would have went off BC sooner than I did and let my body get back to normal before TTC, but I can't change the past.  I'm hoping for a BFP and sticky baby soon and I hope everyone else gets theirs as well.
