The 2nd tri girls are the crankies/b*tchiest group(I know I was when I was over there) and yet they have it the easies out of the tries. I remember being over there and looking for things to snark about and just being ready to rip someone apart for a stupid comment.

These days I feel more puppies and rainbows (totally not me) and just looking forward to baby getting here and taking care of the things that need to get done befor she does.

Anyone else see this??

PS I'm by means trying to start anything with 2nd. I myself did the same thing when I was over there.

They are a special bunch, that's for sure.  This board feels more relaxed to me, at least now.

I felt the opposite.  LOVED the 2nd tri. but was a moody biitch during the 3rd tri. 

eta:  my response has nothing to do with the bump though...just my mood in general

i was always uncomfortable posting in 2nd tri cuz everyone was so on edge and would pick apart anythnig they didnt like. i would spend a lot of time just reading the posts. it put me in a horrible mood allll the time!!!!

i dont know what it was, but there was def a lot of complaining all around. i used to go there to vent (when i was actually brave enough to post).

I can't say because I just joined the bump almost a couple weeks ago and I've only been in the 3rd tri since being here. I'm glad you are liking things better though!  You definitely don't need any snarkiness or stress!

I think during the 1st tri, most first-time moms (myself included) feel too clueless/overwhelmed/exhausted to be too snarky, and during the 3rd tri we're too focused on getting ready for the baby.  The Parenting board is generally non-snarky for the most part, and I think it's because by the time you have a baby/kid and get a little time to yourself to hang out online, it's really not worth your energy to spend it being snotty to random Internet strangers.

Yep... this!!! I guess I read their posts but just don't care to post on them... although sometimes they are pretty entertaining

If you are right and it lets up some in third trimester, this makes me want to move over to third trimester even more than I already did!!!

Funny. Maybe ONE week ago the girls in late 2nd tri were complaining that the board was too nice and not snarky like the "good ol days"!

Oh it was bad for a while when I was over there. Especially when I was early 2nd. the late 2nd girls were just mean and they didn't get much better when they got to 3rd. But I don't see them on here any more, guess they're too busy with their little ones.
