i know they say babies should sleep at 68-70 degrees. This seems fine for the winter when the heat is on, but this seems really cold in the summer with the a/c on. We used to set our a/c to 78 during the summer. what do you set your a/c to? do babies still need to sleep at 70 in the summer?
Re: what do you set your thermostat to in the summer
first of all, when did allison grow up SOOO fast?!?! your sig pic is adorable.
second, i think ours is around 72 at night at 75 during the day. its on a program, i'd have to ask dh. lol
Wow, I can't believe how cool some of you keep your houses! I would FREEZE to death! (DH would love it though.)
We set the heat to 70 at night and 72 during the day in winter.
We set the A/C at 74-76 at night and 76-78 during the day in the summer, depending on if DH is home or not. (I can tolerate the higher temps. We have the ceiling fans going on high though!)
I have been hot lately so we have ours set on 73 during the day and 71 at night.

Oh my! I'm freezing in our house when we set the thermostat to 76! I'd die at 70 and shudder to think what our electricity bill would be like at that temp. I'm shocked that so many people set it that low.
We usually keep our thermostat set at 78 day and night during the summer. We'll definitely set it lower when babies arrive, but I can't imagine we'd keep it cooler than 75. Unless that's a huge no-no...
same. (ish)
Same!
We kept our apartment at like 73 day and 69-70 night. We tried to do that in the house and we about froze our heines off! It was SO cold. Either the thermostats are off or our house is much better insulated than our apartment.
