another double stroller post...

I posted looking for suggestions the other day and got some good ones, but they were a little on the pricey side.  A few people asked some clarifying questions so they could make suggestions based on our needs so I'm posting again with more info about what I'm looking for.  Any suggestions are appreciated.

My DS will be two in April and DD is 12 days old.  Here's what I'm looking for:

moderately priced, but not "cheap" (as in quality) $150-$250 ish but I'm somewhat flexible.

light weight (although I know this is difficult with a double)

compact (I drive a Honda CRV and/or a Honda Civic - would like it to fit in both if possible)

fits Graco snugride infant carrier

one or both sides fully recline

decent storage, cupholders, snack tray ( this one is not a deal breaker if all the other criteria are met)

still undecided on SBS or Front/Back, would consider either but I think leaning toward SBS

I don't need a serious jogging stroller.  Will mostly be used for run of the mill outings, the zoo, the mall, the park etc.  I do walk several miles a few times a week around the neighborhood, but all paved roads etc.

I think those are the big ones.

Any suggestions?  Thank you so much.  Every time I start to search I don't get far because it is so overwhelming.

Thanks again!

Re: another double stroller post...

  • I responded to your other post, but have you tried the book Toddler Bargains? I'm pretty sure it talks about double strollers instead of Baby Bargains.  But I think those books do a good job of breaking down info about all different types of strollers along with pros and cons.
