We had asian lady beetles in our house in TN and it sucks. They would walk circles on the edge of the light fixture in our family room and it just drove me so crazy!
There's actually nothing you can really do about them now except vaccuum them up as you find them - you're seeing the ones that made it inside to spend the winter in your house. Now that the weather's warming up, they get active again and are trying to get back outside. If you can figure out where they're coming in, you can try to prevent having the same problem next year. Look for cracks or places that aren't sealed correctly, especially in the areas of the house that get the most afternoon sun. For us, it was that our back door wasn't sealed correctly. (The piece the builder installed was too short, so there was one small spot they could get in.)
You have ladybugs, we have worms. Well, not in my house thankfully. I am just amazed at the worms that are in our gutters and sidewalk. Poor things have to squirm fast or they dry up dead on the concrete.
Are they ladybugs or are they Japanese beetles? I hate the beetles...they look like ladybugs but they are orange, pinch and make a stain if you smash them on the wall. I hate them. I have been told that if you bay leaves in the windows they will stay away. Didn't work for me though! I haven't seen any this year...yet.
Re: oh great the lady bugs are back
Ha!
Collect them and send them to me. I buy them for my garden.
