What do you think of the name Willow?

I love the name Willow, but I am a big Buffy the Vampire Slayer (the tv show) fan, so the first thing I think of when I hear the name Willow is the character from that show.

probably not many people your future daughter's age will be familiar with that show though, so I think it is a great name!

I kinda like it.  It's a little hippie-ish.  If you use it, go with a more traditional/conservative middle name like "Elizabeth", etc.  I wouldn't name her "Willow Rain", etc.

I think it's a great name for a tree.  It's not the worst name ever, but not my favorite.  I assumed you are using it for a girl - are there nicknames you have in mind or a name paired with it?  It's very . . . earthy.

It's a good solid but still fun name. I like it a lot and usually I don't do anything remotely unique.
