when should I take him to the dr?

Ok so Declan's cold has got worse today. His nose it runny and he has started with a cough. When does it go from a cold to needing to be seen by the dr. They have not been sick yet this is the first time. I don't want to be the crazy mom that take him and they say sorry can't do anything for him. Please help.

If he has trouble breathing, or develops a bad fever then I would call. The girls first colds were like what you're describing, coughing, snotty noses, ect. It lasted about two weeks, but they were totally fine.

I have heard when it moves into their chest and they are wheezing, etc. But if you are curious, just call and see what they say.

my kids just got over colds that seemed to last forever and i took them said everything is fine, there really is not much they can do. just push fluids. if you ds starts to get really cranky and not having fever or wheezing take him to the dr, because he could have an ear infection.

from a month of being sick 2 or my 3 ended up having ear infections.
