I'd be gone on work trips for up to 6 full days at a time. Every other day or so, I'd transfer the milk out of the bottles and portion out into my freezer bags then lie them flat in my hotel fridge. When I'd go to check out, I'd pack them all in my cooler bag and fly home. I'd put them directly in the freezer as soon as I got home. (even with checking out at 7am, having a full day of work, then a 6+ hour flight home, they were always still cold when I got home!)
I think technically you can keep them in the fridge for 10 days THEN freeze them and they are OK. (I never went past 5-6 and only then if I was traveling.
ahh the joys. I've forgotten how much work/effort BF'ing takes! It seems like yesterday I was nursing, then at the same time, it seems like SOOOOOOO long ago. jeez, I only had 2.5 months between stopping nursing and getting PG with #2. I just told my DH the other day, the next time I get to FULLY enjoy a margarita and really tie one on will be October of 2010!
Re: Quick BM freezing Q
