My friend has decided to name her baby boy this... What does everyone think? I think it's awful... reminds me of "hairy legs"  *sigh*  Poor child...

I see it and think "Potter". But that is because I am a nerd. I couldn't name my kid Harry, but that's just me.

I like it! I think it's cute. I like Harrison, too. I don't say it as "hairy" though. That sounds awful. I say Ha-rry, like the long a sound in past or last.

I love Harry as a nickname for Henry.  I think it's really cute.

I do not like Harry as a given name, but I hate all nicknames given as formal names.

I thought of Prince Harry.

Harry's ok in my book. Definitely nms, but I don't mind it. It's much better than Harold IMO. I do really like Harrison, though.

I don't care for it.  It makes me think of Prince Harry or Harry Potter.  I'd prefer Henry just for the formality.

I don't think it's that bad. These sorts of names are becoming popular lately. Look at all the Henry's.

We named our son Harrison...which I obviously love! ?He will go by Harris for a nickname, but definitely NOT Harry.?
