Update on Blake!

First off I want to thank everyone for thinking of Blake. As of right now he is doing a lot better. His fever is around 100 and so far all of his preliminary tests have come back negative. We still have to stay one more night to make sure that the cultures come back clean as well. Last night was very scary. Blake woke up from a nap with a 105 fever so we decided to take him to Mary Bridge. He got and I.V. and a spinal tap and hopefully now we are done with all the painful tests. Right now him and daddy are napping it has been a very long 24 hours. Thanks again for the well wishes!

I'm so sorry!  That is exactly what happened to us over christmas!  IV, Catheters, spinals ICK!  I hope everything comes back clean, also if the first culture comes back with anything make sure they do another as our first one ended up being contaminated which is why they told us he had a blood infection!
