  • Is it weird that I do know how to do this? ?You can get white or "invisible" thread and thread a needle. ?You blow up as many balloons as you can manage. ?You then stick the needle as close as you can to the knot and slide the balloon down the thread. ?(Not above the knot or it will pop!). ?If you have a lot of balloons, you can make a four "sided" arch this way, but it can also work with two or three, especially if you are hanging it against a door or wall. ?

  • i would rent a helium tank from a party store and get fishing string. if you are using just two colors then blow up two of color A, twist together and set aside, blow up another two of color A, twist and set aside then attach all four to the fishing string by twisting. then do a set of color B and do the same thing. keep going until you have the size you want. make sure to get weights to hold down the sides. youtube has some pretty good vids. hth!
  • Thank you so much!  You girls are awsome...I got the idea, now i have to put in to practice...the two colors balloons it is what i have in mind...

Just one more question, once i have the row of cluster balloons attached to the string, creating the arch shape it is a matter of holding down the weights the sides and in the middle should i use string to attached to the ceiling or frame wall???

  • I make mine by taking a long line of fishing wire and tying both ends to something heavy.  Then you blow up the balloons and tie the knot around the wire.  (it kind of saves a step of trying the baloon and then tying it to the wire).
