Childcare?

Hubby and I are both in the military so this will probably be one of our biggest issues. They do have daycare facilities on post but of course they all have tons of kids. I don't know what to do? We are hoping baby makes it to 34 wks which is what the docs want. What do you do for childcare?

I am very lucky that I have my aunt to watch my baby on the days that my husband and I both work. If you're worried about daycare, maybe you find another mother on base/post (?) that is looking to watch one more for extra income? Just an idea.

we were lucky enough to find someone before we had DS that has an in home daycare that we really liked.  even though he came 7 weeks early, we didn't change anything. i was off for 11 weeks and then he started daycare full time. that's all i could afford to take off as the main breadwinner in the family. he's been there a month and seems to be very happy. our provider is very careful with him and he's been fine!
