Everyone take a minute and update your baby books

Sounds pretty bossy, I know, but my guy's mom came over to see our girl and brought his baby book from 1980 with her.

He was the first born on both sides, and it wasn't filled out that much. I ate through what was there, and it was awesome. I just wish there had been more. A lot more.

So I'm pleading with you all...for your child's future spouse's sake...go write in your baby's book.

I keep a smaller calendar hanging on the wall that I write things on. I go so far as to write "auntie Colleen came or a visit" and "you laughed real loud today!"

Her future spouse better love me.
