**AnnapolisLari**

Not sure if you're still here, but saw your post about the phone...

We've salvaged a phone, a blackberry, and a graphing calculator by putting them in a sealed container of (not in the package, like in shoe boxes) silica gel.

Works like a gem!

Re: **AnnapolisLari**

  • Where did you get it?

I just ordered a new phone and will keep this one as a backup. It's an ancient model, but I love this phone, and I got it on ebay for $25. LOL

But since they seem to keep taking baths, having a rescue option around might not be a bad idea.

  • Home Depot/Lowes/Garden store should have it.  Or, a florist might.

I am convinced that I am done buying anything nice until after my children are out of the house.  Benjamin does a NUMBER on just about everything we own...

  • Tell me about it.

I was just talking to my mom, and I told her that I have never seen a kid as DESTRUCTIVE as Matthew is. I was a nanny for a lot of kids way back when, too. He just trashes things on purpose.

I am praying that it is the result of an active curiousity and intellect, rather than criminal tendencies. LOL

  • Okay, that was really funny.  But, I totally agree!  Yes.  Curiousity, it'll be!
