He & his wife (my friend) have been TTC for 2+yrs and recently got a BFP after 2 rounds of IVF.  They just had an u/s this morning and saw the heartbeat, she's about 7wks.  He called me right afterwards to find out if I knew of any good maternity boutiques so he could go get her some goodies.  He's usually a pretty cynical guy and to hear the excitement in his voice just made me so happy for them both.

I thought that was soooo sweet of him!!  I want to call her & talk to her about her u/s, but then that'll give his little surprise away!  ARRRGGH!  I think I'll call her tonight, just to "check in".

Awe that is sweet of him... I love when guys have those moments-they are so rare.
