Hi everyone,

I called my dr. last week to get Mirena (IUD) but they said I had to wait until my period has come. However, since I'm breastfeeding I've heard it takes a lot loooonger to come.

Does anyone have Mirena?

When should I expect my monthly friend?

I asked a lot about Mirena from my doctor and she said that I only would have to wait 10 weeks pp in order for my utertus to shrink back down.  I decided against it more just because we were switching insurance companies around the time I could get it and the new one was being a pain.  I'm still BF and no period in sight still.
