DH is crazy.

It is his cousins 40th Bday first week in April.  There is a big surprise party being held where he lives on Vancouver Island.  We live in Alberta.  Google maps tells me that it is 14 hrs 30 mins assuming we hit the ferry right on, no waiting.  He thinks we can do it in one day.  With a 9 month old. 
I wouldn't want to do it in 1 day if it were just the 2 of us let alone with a baby!

wow, that does sound crazy!!!  Tell him you will drive and he can tend to cranky-too-much-car baby.

yikes that is nuts - it is hard enough to drive straight through to Vancouver in a day, let alone trying to get over to the island!!

I think I have him convinced finally of how nuts that is.  I think a stop in Kamloops and maybe even one more.

Gah, I should just look at flights on West Jet.  They fly to Comox I think.
