Think I've found the crib...but had a question

We went to BRU again yesterday. There were several that we liked but think we settled on the Sorelle Vicki. The reason this was appealing was that the front had "rolled" wood. The edge was just softer than the straight edges. What do you think? I really have no idea if this is important or not but it did look like it was lessen injuries. Your thoughts?

  • I love that crib. We are looking at one just like it from BRU.

  • I'm not sure it would make a lot of difference from the baby's standpoint, but I'm sure it would hurt a lot less if you or your husband bumped into it. I know DH and I were looking at more rounded-edge cribs for just this reason - I can be a little clumsy when it comes to bumping into stuff, and the idea of bruising myself on a crib does not appeal to me.?

  • That crib looks really nice.  We chose a rounded-edge crib for our daughter (which we'll be using again) without even thinking about safety.  It turns out that it was a good decision because our daughter used to bang her head on the frong rail accidentally when she was starting to stand up on her own.  She'd get excited when she'd see us come in the room and she'd try to bounce which usually resulted in banging her head right into the rail!
  • I'm not sure how much safer it is, but it is beautiful!
