Doula recommendations?

I'll be delivering at Evergreen in September - trying for a natural VBAC with the midwives at the Center for Women's Health.  Anyone have doula recommendations?  I have a whole list of doulas here in front of me that my midwife gave me but I thought having some personal recommendations would also be nice. :-)

Oh how I would love to be a doula! I have been looking into going to school for it...I've been blessed to be a part of 3 of my friends births and it never ceases to amaze me how amazing the birthing process is! 

Good luck with the vbac! There are at least 2 of us on the board who have had a successful vbac so if you have any ?'s ask away!

I used the midwives at that office!!  They were GREAT!  I had a vbac, too, all natural.  I used Sharon Muza for my doula.  She was a wonderful support person.  I interviewed about 5 doulas before making my decision.

My neighbor and friend, Jennifer McArthur is one of the directors at NAPS and is soooooo fabulous!   We didnt hire her, because we had my MIL here with the babies, but she shared some superb ideas!   I highly recommend her...  she is an absolute DOLL!!

I became a doula last week and Sharon Muza was my doula trainer - and I really really loved learning from her. She is passionate and loving and caring and really knowledgeable. She is really supportive of VBAC and has done great work in that area. I highly recommend taking her class at the very least, because she's a great teacher and is full of great tips/techniques.

A doula taught our classes, and she was awesome. If I didn't already have three moms with birth experience, I would have hired her. Her name is Serena O'Dwyer
