I've heard 8-12; for our boys it was usually 7-9.

They slept most of the day so we only changed them before we fed them, so every 3 hours: 8 diapers per day per baby

We changed our girls before every meal, which was 8 times a day.  They would, though, sometimes go through 2-3 diapers during one meal because they pooed so much.  I'd say we probably went through an average of 12 diapers a day per baby.

Mine had pretty sensitive butts, so we were changing about every two or three hours for the first four weeks. So, it was btwn 10 and 12 per kid.
