Hello! Thanks for checking in! At my appointment Thursday I was one centimeter dilated and about 50% effaced, so something's happening in there.
I haven't felt a single Braxton-Hicks contraction yet, but I'm told some women have them and don't feel them, so maybe that is happening. I am ready for him to come! It's going to be hard if I go past my due date, which I know could very well happen.
It is really hard to believe that I am this close! On the one hand, having been pregnant since July feels like a really long time. On the other hand, I cannot believe it is almost over. It is kind of surreal to think that sometime in the next couple of weeks we will have a baby! I think we are as ready as it is possible to be at this point.
You are SO close! Any day now!
Enjoy the next few days and take lots of naps!
