If your belly button popped out during pregnancy...

did it go back in? or did it end up being an umbilical hernia and need to be fixed?

Mine did not pop out with my first pg - but seems like it's about to this time- and i'm not any bigger than i was last time (yet). 

DH had an umbilical hernia that needed surgery a few years ago so i'm now wondering if maybe i got one since my last pg.  When i tighten my stomach muscles it pops out a little- just like my DH's used to (and it grosses me out!).

Mine didn't pop, just got flat. It has gone back to being an innie, but it's sadly stretched out. LOL

You've got two of them in there! They are probably trying to make all the room that they can. :-)

It's my understanding that your belly button popping out has to do with the position of the babies.  Mine never did either time b/c my kids weren't in the right position.  But, with two in there, I can imagine it is more likely to pop out and you're more likely to have an umbilical hernia.

It popped out and went back to normal.  But, it popped out MUCH sooner with this pregnancy.

With Alexander it went back to normal.  With Christopher it's kinda weird now...half in and half out (not a lot, but some nonetheless).  Perhaps it's related to my belly getting big from fat now...who knows?

same as bellissimo here. mine popped with my first and sooner with this one. although, depending on  where the baby is, my belly button goes in and out all the time its weird. i will say that my belly button got wider and more unattractive after my first.
