DHA supplements - what kind to give?

If you give your little one DHA supplements, what brand do you use?

I've been reading such good things about adding extra DHA to the diet that I'd like to give DD some extra besides what she gets in her food.  But all I've been able to find is tablets for kids or fish oil - and I just can't imagine DD taking that without a fight!

thanks :)

  • In super baby food it states that flax seed has more omega 3's and 6's than the fish oil. you can grind flax seeds right before meals and sprinkle in for those DHA's. I have been doing this maybe once a week in cereal/apple sauce for a month or so now. the bummer is that you have to grind it up right before cuz the nutrients start to deplete the longer you wait. • i bought the "little gummies" brand. i know gummies can be a choking hazard so i just cut them into small pieces - and he has 16 teeth.

  • We use Baby's Only. It's all natural.

  • We use Dr. Greene's Toddler Drops, also all natural, no additives like sweeteners or colors.  You can put the drops into a drink or food, but DS loves to take stuff from a dropper for now, so that's how we give it!
