How do you decide on a name?!

DH and I like the same names (for the majority) and we're finding it really hard to decide on a name. We love so many names! We both say "that one is really nice" or "that's a great, classic name" and then we end up with 10 more names we both love. How do you pick? We want to decide well before the baby is actually born.?

Narrow down your list by sounding the name out fully with the last name as well. Refer to the book, 'The perfect baby name' by Eric-Reyes and Whitney-Walker.

This book has been a great resource at least for me.

I started by narrowing down the names that were too popular (for me that was top 150).  Then we sounded out the names we liked with the last name and any potential nicknames.
