Any issue with drinking while on clomid and follistim?

This is my first IUI cycle and I will be out with people who don't know about our IF issues.  It will be weird if I don't have a beer or two.  Will it matter if I have a couple beers tonight even though I'm taking clomid and follistim?  From what I've read online about clomid and follistim there doesn't seem to be any issues but I thought I would ask you for your personal experiences.  TIA!

I don't think there is a problem drinking. I quit drinking all when I started clomid and then just drank Day 1 of cycle. Now, I decided to just live my life as normal, and just don't drink a lot.

I personally do not drink while I'm on stims.  I need my body to be at 100% at all times, I'm not really a big drinker though.

It is a personal decision and I'm sure that one or two beers wouldn't do any harm.

I luuuuuv wine. Believe me I don't want one glass I want three, but this is way to important to risk anything so Im not drinking while trying. If I go out with friends who dont know I tell them that I'm on antibiotics and cant have any alcohol. Im dreaming of the fabulous red Im going to have hopefully sooner rather then later.

I had 2 beers on my fourth day on Clomid....I couldnt find i anywhere where it said that alcohol will affect the effectiveness of the drug....didnt research follistim though.

I definitely had wine while I was on Clomid and it didn't change how it worked.  Neither my doctor nor my acupuncturist seemed to think that having a drink with dinner would ever be a problem.

i've had a drink or at least part of a drink on days with clomid...  but i did my best to look into it and read all of the drug information, and it didn't say anything about alcohol.    and my doctor is usually VERY good about telling me when I can and can't drink (he's most strict than most and doesn't want me drinking at all post-O), so i figured he would have said something about it.    but he didn't.    i might ask explicitly next time to see what he says.  

my plan has been to limit myself to one drink, and just sip on it all night.

I asked the fertility nurse about drinking on Clomid, and she said that although it doesn't cause any type of negative reaction, that alcohol can cause poor quality eggs...and I don't want any of those, so I chose not to drink.

when i am out with people i normally drink with, i drink sprite and tell them it is sprite and vodka.

plus, usually if i tell the bartender i am the dd i get free refills all night.
