Butt Shot

I had my monthly OB appointment yesterday. I got to do the lovely one-hour glucose screening capped off with a Rhogam shot in my right butt cheek. It was a glorious day. Actually, it really was because I took the whole day off "sick" from work and DH did the same!

omg my Rhogam shot hurt like a MOFO - i literally got dizzy and had to sit down and then i rubbed my butt the rest of the day. was yours that bad? I think it was because i had done my glucose that day too and i hadnt eaten much and i was nervous from the blood draw etc.

Nope, the shot didn't hurt at all, IMO. The nurse said she took it out of refrigeration when I arrived for my appt so it would warm up by the time she administered it. I thought it would have felt much worse, but was pleasantly surprised. Luckily I didn't have to fast for my glucose test so my stomach wasn't unsettled or anything. Sorry your experience was so bad!
