Re: could the zoloft be giving me crazy headaches?

  • I just finished weaing off Zoloft since it made me eat nonstop, but for a week after I stopped taking it I had almost a nonstop headache...it was finally gone yesterday.  I remember when I started taking it the first three nights I had a horrible headache.

  • that's a tough one to narrow down.  could be dehydration, lack of sleep, stress, the zoloft, The list can go on and on... If it persists I would contact your Dr.

  • any sort of anti-depressant/anti-anxiety med in the same class as zoloft can give you headaches for the first two weeks.  when i took lexapro, i had a headache for the first two weeks, then it disappeared.  what helped me is to take it at night before i went to bed untill my body adjusted to it.  that way i'd sleep through most of the severe side effects.  (my doctor also recommended this). take some tylenol to help with the headache.
