XP: Crib questions

I have narrowed down the choice of cribs to the following (all convertible): DaVinci Kalani , Sorelle Sophia or Babi Italia Espresso Pinehurst Lifetime Convertible Crib Does anybody have any insight/experience with these (good or bad)? Or know how they are rated on Consumer Reports? I read the online reviews where I could find them and they all seem to be rated fairly high, but wanted to get some additional insight from all of you helpful girls. TIA!

Re: XP: Crib questions

  • SmileHey girl! That's so funny- we have the same taste in cribs! I am just starting to research all of this myself so I couldn't tell you yet. I feel like such a dorky newbie :)

I read somewhere below that bumpers were bad. I had no idea. I seriously need to start researching asap.

  • I was in BRU a few weeks ago and saw an Espresso crib that also had a dresser to match. I loved it because the dresser was sort of like a dresser with a bookshelf on top. What made it cool was it was a changing table but it was just as easily a dresser (when baby doesn't need a changing table anymore). I looked online but couldn't find it. I am going to have to go back to BRU to find out the style name. Anyway, good luck!
  • I can't remember where I read this, but I did read someplace that Sorrelle products are made by the same company that manufactures Munire furniture (I have a Munire crib and saw an almost identical one at BuyBuyBaby under the Sorrelle name, for what that's worth). From what I've heard, that company makes high quality furniture.
