I am curious as to when you start potty training. I would like to start on Emily, but I don't know if she is too small. When do you know your kid is ready? I have a book on reserve at the library, but it hasn't came yet. So I thought I would ask for advice here first.
Re: Potty Training?
We trained our DDs around 2.5 and it went relatively smoothly. It took about a week for my girls to really be trained and for me to be fully comfortable in their abilities to wear underpants. We knew they were ready when they started having fewer wet diapers throughout the day, but fuller diapers when they were wet. They would also tell us when they had to go.
They are still working on night time. Laney is pretty good at being dry in the mornings, but Alie still has a long way to go. My girls are a little over 3 right now.
My SIL just potty trained my nephew at 20 months, she said it was potty trips to the toilet every 20 minutes for about a week. With a few accidents every day. Took about 3 weeks total and he is fully potty trained.
That is way too early IMO, espicially trying to do 2 kids at once. I am waiting closer to the 2.5-3 yr mark.
I have no clue either.
