S/O wedding post...

Maybe it's just me, but I can't imagine telling people they can't bring their kids to a wedding if they wanted to. I've never been to a wedding that was adults only. Maybe it's just my family and friends? Mabe it's a regional thing? WDYT?

Re: S/O wedding post...

  • I havent been to many weddings where kids were invited.  I would never assume they were invited and IMO I really don't think it is a place for them unless they are in the wedding.  I had the kids in my wedding at mine but no one elses kids.  My sister is just having my kids and her sil kids (they are all in the wedding)

  • ditto that! I love weddings with kids, they make it a little more fun/funny!

I've never been to one with no kids either.

  • In my family/circle, it's assumed that kids WILL be invited. Only one of my cousins ever had an adults-only wedding, and she arranged for sitters for all of our kids. We paid the sitters, but she had them lined up.

  • Never been to an adults only wedding....I think the kids make it fun love when they all get on the dance floor & have a great time making everyone laugh.

  • I'm the opposite - almost all of the weddings I have been to were adults only.
