S/O wedding post...

Maybe it's just me, but I can't imagine telling people they can't bring their kids to a wedding if they wanted to. I've never been to a wedding that was adults only. Maybe it's just my family and friends? Mabe it's a regional thing? WDYT?

I havent been to many weddings where kids were invited.  I would never assume they were invited and IMO I really don't think it is a place for them unless they are in the wedding.  I had the kids in my wedding at mine but no one elses kids.  My sister is just having my kids and her sil kids (they are all in the wedding)

ditto that! I love weddings with kids, they make it a little more fun/funny!

I've never been to one with no kids either.

In my family/circle, it's assumed that kids WILL be invited. Only one of my cousins ever had an adults-only wedding, and she arranged for sitters for all of our kids. We paid the sitters, but she had them lined up.

Never been to an adults only wedding....I think the kids make it fun love when they all get on the dance floor & have a great time making everyone laugh.

I'm the opposite - almost all of the weddings I have been to were adults only.
