I've definitely seen a trend with the crass baby onesies. I have no idea what brought it on.

I also think they are unfortunately for teen/ immature moms. I received a bunch of similar one at my shower with the ILs. They were very tasteful things like Baca-Caca, our last name is Baca, Baby Caca. And they still are upset that DS has never worn them. Hmmm, maybe because I will not embarrass my son or myself like that.?

I think it's all ages.  The issue is that people are dropping family values and morals.  More and more trends are developing where people practice grotesque humor.  Look at the stickers in car windows.  Men walking around wearing tees that say "all I want is a beer and a blow job- is that so bad?".  It's "funny" TV when characters use filthy words and body action inuendos (sp?)

The divorce rate is up.  Children w/out fathers.

I could go on and on all day.

The thing is, people are turning away from the church and it's teachings.  At some point it became cool to be "bad".

My first thought was- Oh I can see this on some of my former client's babies.  I used to work at a teen mother group home.  A few of the girls were awesome, others would be having their baby wear this daily!
