how many bathing suits does your DC have?

DD has 3 for this summer. a one piece (i never had diaper issues while she swam before but now i'm rethinking this if we may be potty training...), a rash guard that i liked when i bought it but am no longer sure i love (it has boy shorts... might be cute on DD but i hate boy shorts on me so i think thats influencing my opinion), and a lands end tankini that i love.

we have a pool and pool season is from early may until late september here. i keep wanting to buy more swimsuits for her, but with the new baby coming i'm not sure how much time we'll actually spend in there. i'm also nervous DD will hate swimming this year since she's recently started HATING water on her head in the bathtub.

hmm, also wondering if any of her suits from last year might still fit... think some were 18 mo...

Re: how many bathing suits does your DC have?

  • Too many. She currently has about 4 or 5 in both 2T and 3T. She is in swim lessons year round, so we go once a week. That in no way warrants the need for multiple suits..but they are my weakness. I'll probably have 3 for the summer time or until she outgrows 3T.

  • 3 seems to be the going number.  Both kids will have swim lessons this summer and that way we can alternate every day.  Each has a one piece and a bikini and I am looking for a tankini for C since she is pt'd.

  • She has 1 and last years might still fit. We don't swim much and alot of the time when she plays in the water, she is naked.
  • I think she has 1 or 2 tankinis. She has a one piece suit. I also have a rash guard that I got on clearance from Target, but it no longer had bottoms, so I'll have to find matching bottoms. One suit stays with her at daycare.

  • 2 right now, but as more cute ones come out she will get more! we live in CA and swim every day!
  • DD and DS both have 4 sets each.

I'll probably just get him one and if it's not working out I'll buy another one.

  • She has 3 in size 4s, but I need to stock up on 5s... she's quickly outgrowing the 4s. We live where there's a pool and we're close to the ocean--in any given week we're in the water at least 3 times/week. So I like her to have 2 or 3.

  • One each. I might get them each a second suit if I find a cheap one that I like, but one really should be enough.?
