I think I am going to go with this nursery idea
This was my original one, but I'm really leaning towards the navy.
Anyway, has anyone done or seen a similar nursery?
If your nursey has dark walls - can you share pics?
Has anyone seen bedding that is navy and white (and possibly lime) that isn't $500 Serena and Lily like in my inspiration board? haha
Thanks!
Re: Navy (and white) Nursery? Bedding? PIP
Not really sure but you could always have something custom made. I love the modern fabrics you've picked, but I also think a navy and white polka dot would look divine with what you have picked out.
I also think this set from Baby Gap is super cute! It's definitely not as modern as what you've picked out, so not sure if you'll like it.
The Serena and Lily Alex bedding was my inspiration too! I actually had bedding custom made that is a modern navy, lime, and white- I used Alexnder Henry's 2-d zoo fabric with a solid navy fabric and a lime with white polka dots fabric. It turned out fab!!! I need to get some more pics up here...but I did lime and chocolate walls for contrast; a navy area rug; white furniture; navy storage bins; navy w/lime dot trim window treatments; glider is white with navy cushions; and other misc navy accents like changing pad cover, etc. I will try to remember to take some more pics- if I don't you can page me on 3rd tri and I'll email them to you! DH and I LOVED how it turned out! Different and modern and fun!
I'm usually not at all, but these are so little, cute and preppy I can't help myself.
oooooh that sounds soooo amazing! I've seen that fabric while looking for mine and it's cute! I've found quite a few lime and navy fabrics that I think will be perfect so I'm excited to have them made. Definitely get some more pics when you can and I will be sure to remind you
hmmm Now I am considering doing navy on the bottom and a limey green on top (chair rail to break it up...)..that could be really cool!
So true. If I couldn't find fabrics there is a very good chance I would go with that. But since I'm not sure if it's a boy or girl I figured going with my own fabrics I could add some flowery navy ones in (found a perfect one) to make it a little girly. plus, I don't want a bumper and you can only buy the set
