Reflux Moms- HELP!!!

DS is so congested. I cannot lay him down anywhere, even on an incline. He is so miserable. I can get him all cleared out as soon as I lay him down he is coughing, choking and stuffed up.  Sometimes, he just has a constant stream of formula coming out of his nose.  This is killing our sleep.  We are up and down all night long trying to get comfortable. I feel so bad for him.  I do the saline, humidifer, and he's on an incline.  We go back to the GI on Friday but what else can I do?  We are both miserable and Friday can't come soon enough. I know his palate is intact and there are not any malformations or abnormalities in his palate.  TIA!

    aww poor guy! I don't know what else you can do. Have you tried steaming up the bathroom and sitting in there with him. DS was so congested that was the only thing that helped. I suctioned him out after that and he fell asleep and took a nice long nap, so I started doing that in the evenings to help him sleep.

    Yep- in fact that's where I was from 2-2:30 am.

    Thanks for the suggestions keep 'em coming. We thicken as well. He gets about 1/2 tsp/oz. He's also on Prilosec (2x/day) and Carafate(4x/day).
