we got the simmons one that was recommended by baby bargains. it was less than $100 and was in-stock at babies r' us.

either the Colgate one or the Moonlight-Something-Or-Other. they were the top 2 rated ones that i've read about all over place.

Sealy Naturalis Crib Matress.   We really wanted a mattress that used natural fillament and was chemical/pestiside free.  This was the the best priced once we could find and we trust Sealy. Most of the other organic matresses start out around the $300's
