I actually got mine from JCP because I was not happy with Babies R Us's selection either. It is very neutral, just frogs and ducks in a light yellow and green decor....

We got our bumpers and sheets from BPK. My mother made the bed skirts (although now the cribs are too low to use them). I also ordered flannel sheets online - they're so comfy I want to sleep in the crib
i got ours from a little local baby shop, it's the dwell studio gio aqua set. but you can find the dwell studio line a lot of places, and the other dwell line at target. i wasn't happy with BRU selection either. i'd recommend checking out any local baby shops if you have them, or csn.com is great. that's where we got our furniture. and google will give you lots of results! also, try checking tj maxx and marshall's - they have good random baby stuff. i found a petunia pickle bottom diaper bag at marshall's for $60.
We got ours from PBK...it was on an amazing sale. I will say that I LOVE it. Its amazing quality. My friends husband even commented on it. & its very traditional. I didnt want a TON of stuff all over it.
I ordered mine from Amazon. But it is found on many websites (Bananafish brand). I just found it cheaper and it was free shipping with Amazon. Many places don't ship to APO addresses.
Re: Where did you get your bedding from?
Try BuyBuyBaby, Target, www.landofnod.com, and https://www.rhbabyandchild.com/rhbc/index.jsp
we got ours from:
https://www.babybeddingtown.com/
they have so many choices, and i believe you can search by gender, color, theme...etc. (we picked carters elephant stitch in blue & chocolate)
have fun!
