Hello Ladies! This is a check-in for Nesties with a due date in the month of August. If you would like to be added, please post your name and EDD. Also, if you want anything changed, please post your EDD along with your new info so it's easier to find your name on the list. Check-ins will be every Monday, Wednesday and Friday before 6am. Feel free to check-in any time that day. Give us a general update on your progress and anything else you want to add!! We will have a question of the day as well. There will also be a link to the check-in sometime after 3pm on M, W & F.
Please tell me if you are NOT planning on finding out the sex/gender so I can go ahead and get "surprise" beside your name!!! If I do not get a "boy, girl or surprise or another explanation" from you by the beginning of May then I will remove you from the list so we will have active members remaining...

What color is your Kitchen?

We're renting and the owner has the walls painted this funky peachy-orangey color.  Ick.  But the rest of the house is very 70's/80's (the stove is totally vintage too), so I guess the wall color fits in  lol

I'm still waiting to feel the baby moving    I'm a first timer, so I know I could already be feeling him/her and not know it, but I can't wait for that first definite baby feeling...

Our kitchen is just a cream color like the rest of our house. We built our house 2 years ago and the contractor painted all the rooms the same. We will get around to changing them all at some point!?

I had a doctor appt. yesterday. Everything is going well. Baby's heartbeat was at 142. It kept moving when they were trying to find the heartbeat with the doppler. It was cute! We have our big U/S scheduled in 2 weeks. I hope it goes fast.

Our kitchen is deep red. I LOVE it! We are trying to sell our house and have been told to repaint it but I refuse. I like it!

Good Morning.  I am fighting a nasty cold and can't sleep anymore. 

 My kitchen cabinets are distressed/glazed cream and our island is a distressed black.  The walls are still a yellow tan.  We actually want to paint them (at least some of them) a coppery color, just haven't gotten around to it yet.

The kitchen is a medium green colour.

Had a doctor's appointment yesterday, heartbeat was 145.  It was neat, they managed to find a spot where you could hear mine and baby's together at the same time.  Not emotional at all!  My first OB appointment is confirmed for the end of next month, so I'm glad to have that settled. Still feeling lots of movement, waiting for DH to as well.

I'm bumming this morning.  I may have to put my 20wk U/S off for another week or so because we are in between insurance companies.

Our Kitchen is painted in magnolia pale yellow.When I get money..in maybe 30 years or something...I'd love to do it up in Diner style

We had our 1st hospital appointment yesterday and had a small scan too!! Dr. said that the baby is perfect! yippee!

Good morning everyone! 

Our kitchen is painted a color called "Blackberry Mocha."  It is like a mauve color...not purple, not maroon, somewhere in between.  It is very nice though...and flows well with the green color in our family room.  We have all black appliances, darker wood cupboards, and a white countertop that I hate (if you spill anything, it stains and needs to be scrubbed out).  We would like to change the cupboards and countertops....not ready for the headache that project would entail yet though!

Kind of frustrated at not feeling any movement at all yet...I am hoping it will start in the next couple of weeks.

My kitchen- we just remodeled it. It's a tan color with browns in it- it's called "Gobi Desert." And we have a coffee theme.

Sadly, our kitchen is still white same as it was when we built the house almost 2 years ago. My husband got into the painting mood so hopefully it will be painted soon! Im thinking one wall a deep green and the other walls a light brown color.

I have a doctors appointment tomorrow! Im very excited! Lol im always very excited to go to the doctor. We have our big u/s in 2 weeks! I can finally feel a tiny bump when im laying down! Still not showing at all yet though!

We rent, so we had no say.  The walls are tan, painted over old wallpaper, the counters are yellow, the cabinets are dark brown and the floor is old wood (it's a converted attic) and painted red.  What a fantastic combo.

My kitchen is a cranberry color--thanks to the previous owners...cranberry cabinets and one wall with cranberry stripes. I'm not a fan of it and really want a yellow and green kitchen.  One day!

 Have an appointment today at 3:30 and can't wait to hear the heartbeat. I can't believe 16 weeks have gone by so fast. At first I wanted things to move fast but now I am wanting it all to slow down : )

Good morning, ladies! I can't wait to add to the boy/girl list after my big u/s on the 20th. I have to admit I'm somewhat envious of those of you who are due after me who have already had yours.

My kitchen is white with light wood cabinets. Most of my apartment is white since I rent. We're just happy that our landlady gave the OK to paint the second bedroom a "nursery" color?ie. pastel.

Hmm, well we just redid my kitchen. It's kind of hard to explain but I'll attempt. The cabinets are painted white, the countertops are a dark blue. I put a border up that is kind of khaki/beige w/ dark blue & dark red country wooden hearts & my curtains are khaki/dark blue checkered. Somehow I have a lot of cow stuff as well, but it kind of ties in w/ the country look. I guess you'd just have to see it because reading this back to myself I'm like, WOW. Lol.

Wednesday QOTD: What color is your Kitchen?

The walls are painted a light beige; brown hardwood flooring, dark cherry cabinets & a dark grey "granite look-alike" formica countertop with stainless steel appliances.  We just moved in and I am loving it!!

Actually have an appt in 1/2hr. totally forgot about it and worked 12hrs last night for someone. trying so hard to stay awake.

our kitchen is a deep yellow venetian plaster. definitely alot more work than paint but the result was awesome.

My kitchen is pretty boring as far as paint.  Antique white color painted on the walls with some great tile work for our backsplash as well as a good looking black with gold granite counter tops, so it's not too boring. 

Big U/S is scheduled for next Tuesday, so I am counting down. I hope the baby decides to work with us.  Last U/S it was not willing to do anything the tech wanted it to do!

our house was built in the 50's so we have wood panelling too, but it's not too bad. its not the cheap-o fake wood, its real pine tongue & groove. we white washed the living area and are planning on staining the kitchen a dark brown. we have plenty of work to do in our "fixer" house!

Our kitchen is the same color as it was when we moved in~ an off white color ~ i have kitchen rugs and curtains in a greenish color (don't know what to call it~ but it's a pretty color~ not too dark and not too light)~with purple flowers in rugs and green/tan in valance~i would like to paint our kitchen the greenish color and since our house is small, i would paint the same in the dinning room to make it flow

i can't wait for our big u/s ~ it's scheduled for march 25th~ it is just amazing how fast things are going with almost being halfway through the pregnancy!

Good morning. This is my first time posting in a check in!

My name is Genevieve and EDD is August 25th. I have my Big u/s coming up on Monday.. I'll be 17 weeks and I really cannot wait. This is my second.. but its just as exciting as my first.. although I'm much more tired this time.

My kitchen walls are just a creamy color. Accented with wine red towels and rug.

Hello ladies!  I haven't checked in in a while, but got around to it today.  I LOVE the color of our kitchen - we just bought the house in December and painted the kitchen and living room before we moved in in January.  We've gotten lots of compliments on it - the color is called "green tea leaves," and it goes awesome with our mahogany colored cabinets, stainless steel appliances and gray/black countertops.  I love it.

I've started to feel the baby move, and am loving it!  My big u/s isn't scheduled until April 6th though, and I'm so impatient!  Anyone else have to wait that long?

NBR - my cousin is coming to visit me tomorrow with her little almost 1-year-old little boy... just a girls day in, and I can't wait!

The color is Bali by Benjamin Moore and is kind of like a bluish slate color. 

We first painted it a really bright/bold green color and that was a little much so we recently changed to a more calming color.

Wednesday QOTD: What color is your Kitchen? ?Well, seeing as how we rent our apartment and most of it hasn't been updated since the 60s (and has the original windows from the 20s) our kitchen is kind of off-white ? when it clearly used to be white. ?With 70s-style wood paneling! ?Hot! ?

Today I am experimenting with different kinds of music to see what the baby likes the most. ?So far ? fast-paced classical violin music, and 80s Brit pop.

Our kitchen is red...not fire engine red, but a dark/deep red.

 We had the big ultrasound yesterday. Everything looked good and measured +/- 3 days of the due date, so that is staying the same (August 3). We found out we are having a little BOY! We are very excited as we will have one of each now

 Our kitchen is a light yellow. I love it! Especially when the sun shines in, it brings a beautiful glow to the room.

My husband already has 3 children from his first marriage. Our baby is due on August 15th. We have our BIG ULTRASOUND on March 26th so hopefully baby will cooperate and give us the money shot. Our kitchen has white cabinets and is a deep red color (almost maroon). The contrast works well with the space that we have!

DH and I are super excited to find out the baby's sex on April 8. My dr. likes to wait until 22 weeks. It's a bit longer to wait, but hopefully Baby C will cooperate!!
