I had my keys attached to a slim little wallet that held my ID and cards. So convienient! SO STUPID. Now I've lost my keys and whoever finds them will have my address. Here ya go! Come on over and steal our car, unlock our doors and rob us blind. You're welcome in advance!!! We can reprogram my husband's key for a mere $160 and to replace and program a new one is a measly $260. Plus the cost of replacing our locks. My husband pretty much hates me right now:( Somebody hold me.
Re: I lost my wallet and keys:( The hubs is LIVID.
Tell Mr. Jackass that if you had done it on purpose he MIGHT have a reason to be livid. Like you dont already feel like crap about it.
Tell him that I said to take one of his nuts (if he can find those little suckers) and insert it into the nearest open car door , then, SLAM.
ugh, Sorry you are having a rough night.
Ooooh... that sucks! I'm sure you've already called any place that you think might have foudn them?
My "glass half full" would be to tell you that maybe a really nice person would drop them off to you or mail them. That also scares me a LITTLE bit.
But really, like you would do that on purpose. Usually when stuff like this happens to me, I wind up finding whatever I lost like MONTHS later. Which makes DH even MORE mad!!
Oh that sucks! I hate when people get mad at you for things that you didn't do on purpose!!! I'm sorry; that is an awful situation.?
You MIGHT find that whoever finds the keys might just return them. ?I have this absurd faith in the goodness of humankind. ?I'm constantly proven wrong, but I keep hoping!
Hope it works out okay! ?
Sucks! I do that type of sh!t all the time though. Here's a few examples:
-lost my car key because I had one of those tiffany key rings with the balls on the end and the ball had fallen off (which I knew and was using a rubberband to keep the key on). My car DID get stolen because I must have dropped the key feet away from where my car was parked.
-put my keys on top of DH's car when we were going somewhere because he had brought his set and I didn't need mine. He drove off with them the next day...never did find them.
I'm notorious for that sh!t. Happens every few years or so...I'm just too busy and unorganized.
Anyway, just saying it happens to the best of us!
LMAO at Mel!
Im sorry about your keys and wallet. That totally sucks. I dont have any advice but wish and pray that some nice person found them and will either turn them in or drop them by... during the daytime.
DH lost $500 and we are still waiting on that nice person to show up. The money was in a bank envelope that had my bank card with my NAME on it. So the person who found it KNEW what bank I belong to and who the F**K I am. NO reason not to turn it in at least to the bank!.
My brother lost his wallet when he was in high school and some man found it. He brought it by our house. It had some money it in as well that he never touched. My lil bro the sweetheart he was gave the man all the money that was in it. (about $25) He was just happy he didnt have to get a new ss card, DL, and bank card. Oh and that no one stole his identity since he had all his info in it.
GL!
Aw, you poor thing. I'm so sorry. I always say that if my head weren't attached to my body I'd lose it. I've always been absent-minded, but I'm even moreso now that I'm a mom.
I do hope someone kind and honest finds all of that and brings it back to you. That's what I'd do.

Nope. I have looked EVERYWHERE, feasible or otherwise. I was with my mom and she has also checked and rechecked. I called the last place I was and they didn't have them. I have no idea where they could be at this point?! They just disappeared or I dropped them somewhere. Ack. I hope I get them back! I can't stand it when my husband is mad at me for something I didn't do on purpose. I TOTALLY am not the humble-type and end up fighting with him all day. It just makes it worse:(
