Just curious, does anyone else get nausea primarily at night? I know "morning sickness" can happen any time, but for the past several nights I've felt sick in the hour or two before going to bed. And not just from eating too much dinner
"For a long time there were only your footprints & laughter in our dreams & even from such small things, we knew we could not wait to love you forever."
I have all of the above .... Mornings and right before bed are the worst! I have found that some benadryl really helps with the evening time (and while mornings are more "constant nausea", the evenings are much worse!). Mine kicked in about week 5 (didn't realize I was pregnant due to a procedure that made this whole thing very improbable....was actually having polyps removed for INfertility!)..... but it has been rather terrible and more "on" than "off" since (week 8 now).
The bright side is that I have heard (anectdotally) that morning sickness is a very good sign
My sickness is the WORST at night time. We actually figured out I was pregnant by me getting sick at night. If I wake up quickly, mornings can be a bit rough too, but night is by far my worst

My m/s started around week 6 and I am nauseous all day. That being said, it is much worse starting from dinnertime until bedtime. Week 9 was bad because I was throwing up every night. This week seems a little bit better. Try to eat small, frequent meals and drink plenty of water. Dehydration can make you feel worse. My OB also recommended 50mg of vitamin B6 take with 25 mg of doxylamine (Unisom) twice a day.
Mine starts around 1 pm and progressively gets worse until I am so dizzy and puking non stop by bed time. Eventually if it goes like last pregnancy it will go all day.

I crash around 3 pm (sleep walk until 5 pm). Then the nausea starts, so I am an "evening sickness" girl myself. My mornings are actually my best time, usually! And last night I woke at 2 am feeling awful...
PP who asked when it started, it was wk 6 right one cue, but seems to be getting better, at least more bearable.
I had it at 5 PM every night. If I didn't eat dinner by 4, then I wasn't eating. I ended up going to bed around 7 every night, because I was so sick, nothing else helped. Fortunately, I have been feeling better the past few days. Here's hoping it's over and not just on hiatus.
Yes! I hate it! I started getting heartburn and feeling nauseous at night at about 4 weeks, and it kept getting worse. I started feeling a little bit nauseous all day, but nothing too bad to stop me from going to class or work. I did start going to bed around 7 to keep from feeling too sick. But it's starting to get a lot better now (finally!) that I'm at about week 13!
I pretty much have it all day, but the evenings are usually the worst. I think it is because I don't eat until later, though. By the time we get the little one fed and bathed and put to bed, it is usually around 8 before we eat. By then I'm just do damn hungry I'm sick. It all sucks!
I'm the same way - I haven't started puking, but for a few hours before bed I really feel crappy. I eat like a cow all day and then I can barely eat dinner. I was thinking it was just because I was tired - I've always gotten a bit nauseated when I get too tired.
I usually feel sick after 4 PM each day, so I have to get my food in me before that time. Otherwise, I end up losing most of the food I eat after that time.
Re: Evening sickness?
