Aviane (generic Alesse) BCP?

Hi Ladies!

?

Well I just came back from the doctor (for ?pre-checkup) bc my DH and I want to start TTC in the summer...not before then-- but anyways, my Dr. suggesting getting off the pill now. I was wondering if any of you ladies were on Aviane BCP, and how your experience was?

?OH I FORGOT TO MENTION THE AVIANE IS THE GENERIC FOR ALESSE...so maybe that might be more popular...

    Are you asking how their experience was ON Alesse or getting off it or getting regulated after getting off it?

    I took Alesse for about a year and really liked it.... it has one of the lowest doses of hormones so it doesn't take much to get it out of your system. If you miss 1 pill its likely your period will start though so be careful to not miss one if you are TTA.

    I was on Avaine for 3-4 years.  I just got off it in November...the first couple months were fine, my period came around the same time, now im starting to go through some irregular periods,  last month it came early and then 2 weeks later, it came again.  Im anxious to see what happens this month. Hoping it doesnt come at all Wink !!

     If I were you, just go off it now. My friends kept saying, you should wait until you are married before you get off it just in case!  You might just get off and be fine, or have issues like me!

    I took Alesse a few years ago and my experience (on and getting off) was great. My cycle was pretty normal right after.
