I lied. This will be my last post before I go. I'll forget otherwise.
I want to line that tote I showed you. Do you think I should sew the lining to each individual piece before I join it together? Or should I join it, make the liner and then sew the liner in? And, last, should I hand sew or machine sew... and regular thread or that yarn thread (think that's what it's called)?
Marinate on that and let me know your thoughts, please. ;-)
Re: Kori
Girl, I absolutelysuckass at lining anything. Like, throw it out and start over bad. Because not only is it lining, you're also lining something stretchy - which just makes me want to break my sewing machine thinking about it.
Probably the easiest thing to do would be to assemble the lining separately, then just attach it along the top edges of the bag, by hand, leaving it kinda hanging loose down inside, or you could hand tack it in the corners. You could do embroidery floss & blanket stitch it on so it's decorative, or do regular thread & make it blend.
And, I'd ask Pin for a second opinion. lol Have fun at the park, it's a drizzly mess here.
