I don't want to sell my house

Ugh! ?DH and I are moving back to Michigan sometime before September. ?This is where we are both from, and he just got a job at a law firm there in Detroit. ?He is finishing up law school right now and we have listed our condo. ?It finally feels like home here and we've met a ton of friends I'm not ready to leave!! ?We have a Broker's open house today, and a showing tonight, and I'm so worried there will be an interest.

Its a pain in my butt to keep this place clean, and I'm in no hurry to sell. ?But, at the same time, with the market as it is... we need to have as much activity as possible around the place. ?And, ?I know we need to sell it... but I"m just so bummed about it all.

Sorry, just venting... ?

I just got a contract on our place after 16.5 months. Thank God we were only living in it on weekends, or I would have dropped dead keeping it in show condition all the time.

I love my house, and wish we could just pick it up and move it to where we're going.

We have, but that might seriously be a pain too... from a management perspective. ?Renting is kind of our "backup plan" if we can't unload it.

We're going to be living somewhere in metro Detroit area... I'm from Lake Orion, DH is from Jackson. ?We lived in Northville before and went to school in Ann Arbor. ?Looking at possible Northville/Novi or Troy/Birmingham/Rochester??
