but am scared that I will have twins again. I have 3 children but would like 4.  Not to sure if I should take the chance of having multiples again. I dont think we could afford 5 children. I am torn.

Congrats that is so EXCITING!!! If I had my twins first and then another set of twins I would be fine with that. My first was a singleton and second were twins.  Not to sure what we should do.  Maybe in a year we will be able to make a better decision.  Any thoughts??

You are not alone! I have the same thoughts. After my mom found out we were having twins she asked "does this mean you wont try for a girl?" I still want a girl, but I just dont know if financially we can afford 3 kids.  Though something tells me that we will make it all work and try for another. :-)

We have talked about trying for "1" more but we also talk about my next pregnancy as if it will be twins.  I know we would be able to make 2 sets of twins work although it would be tough.

My husband and I talk about this all the time.  We always wanted 3 kids, not 4. 

Does anyone know whether it's possible to get an u/s before ttc to see if you have multiple eggs that are going to be released?  I know they do that kind of thing for IF but I didn't know if you can get it done to see if you're a hyperovulator or whatever it's called.  I don't think we'll chance it if there was that good of a chance for twins again.

I am with you - would love more, but TWO...that might be more than I could handle.  I figure we'll wait until the twins are closer to two and then decide!  Let me know if you can find out about the "hyperovulator" thing...
