I have a 19 month old and am expecting twins in June so I'm trying to find the best stroller arrangement. I'm thinking of getting a double stroller (either BOB Duallie because I LOVE our BOB single, the Phil & Ted's twin, Valco twin or Mountain Buggy twin) then attaching the Buggy Board.
If you have a Buggy Board, does it work as well as you'd hoped? Which stroller do you use it with?
If you have a Buggy Board, do you use it with any of the strollers listed above?
Re: Buggy Board - reviews/compatibility?
are you talking about the hitch hiker type board you attach to the back? I would not get that for a 19 m/o - no way.... i know my son, who is almost 2, would never stay on that for long- i can only imagine him getting hut hopping off, etc. We have one- but don't plan to use it for a long time.
the Phil & Teds is a great stroller- but can not be used for twin infants b/c both seats do not fully recline. you need a double with a full recline on both seats for twin infants.
Of the strollers you mentioned- the Valco Tri Mode twin + toddler seat is the way to go - we got one on craigslist - it's really the only stroller that will accomodate all 3 of our kids at the right stages - other than getting a triple stroller, which i really did not want to do b/c DS will not be in a stroller THAT much longer, and i don't picture me having them all on my own that often... so we can always take the Valco twin without the toddler seat + our phil & teds single if there are 2 of us pushing.
The valco has a hitch hiker that goes with it- which is the one i have.... but i believe it fits many strollers - but again- not for a child under 2+ I'd say.
