Thanks for responding to my post below. I have a couple questions. Toast, I have never done this. Is it really just plain bread toasted with nothing on it? They will eat this? Also, dod you stop formula? I have people talk about switching to Soy but the switch seems like it would upset their stomach as well.

They were not drinking pedialyte (tried grape and unflavored)  so that is why I gave them the white grape juice/with water for hydration, but I don't think they are dehydrated so I will stick to water going forward.

Hi there!

I'm so sorry for what you are going through - it's so hard on you, and I always hate to see the babies in discomfort - plus my girls always got diaper rash when they have diarrhea, so that makes everything worse.

?You know - i just realized that white grape juice is fine for kids with diarrhea - it's apple juice that you're supposed to avoid. ?So sorry about that! ?I think you're fine giving them grape juice. ?My girls won't take pedialyte either - and I'm not sure I blame them, as it has a weird taste.

?As for the formula thing - I BFed my daughters for their first year, and would just continue to breastfeed even when they were sick, but I'm not sure what to do about formula. ?

?As for toast, I would just toast some bread and put a very tiny amount of butter on it - just enough to make it appetizing and not so dry - and then cut it up into small pieces for them to eat. ?I also give them saltine crackers as well.

You know I am so lucky because even though they are going through this they still have such great attitudes and sleep great! You would not know they had this if you saw them. Poor Connors diaper rash is so bad right now:(
