he got bored with carpentry so he went back to school for plumbing got bored with that and learned landscaping. Now he is going back to learn electrical.

I actually do not take DD to see her dad- she sees the other pediatrician he works with. We made a deal before she was born that he will be the dad, not the doctor. Although has looked in her ears in the middle of the night to check for ear infections.

Thats understandable. Its nice incase of an emergency or something. But I can understand your deal.

My DH is in LAW ENFORCEMENT. He is a deputy sheriff and loves every minute of it. Currently he's trying to get on to the K-9 team. But he was on the Dive resuce team.

DH is a detective. He likes it a lot- he couldn't imagine anything else. at the same place and point, I am at home right now alone. I work days, he nights- it was much worse when he was on 3rd shift.. I don't think many people realize how tough it is to be the wife of a cop/sheriff/etc.. we will save on day care, but family time with the 3 of us will be hard to come by.. I know we are very lucky in that he works a recession proof job, but there's a heck of a lot of sacrifices to go along with that. Plus he can retire at 43, you can't do that in many jobs!?
